says, and a deep link that jumps your browser to the exact sentence and highlights it.
How to inspect a claim in ten seconds
- Read the CLAIM row — that is the assertion as it appears in the study.
- Read the VERBATIM row — that is the source's own words, copied character for character.
- Click Open at the exact sentence. Chrome, Edge and Safari will scroll to that sentence on the live page and highlight it. If the page has changed since 17 August, the link will land you at the top instead — which is itself information.
- Read DISCREPANCY. This is where the study was wrong before verification and what was changed.
- Read ACTION. That is the standing instruction to anyone editing this study.
